Why Diets Don’t Work and Why We Keep Trying
Dieting is the most common form of disordered eating. It’s a popular topic with many of my clients. If I had my way, diets would come with this warning, “I’m going to set you up to fail and then blame it on you.” Research shows us that 95% of diets don’t work. I bring no judgment of where you are with regards to dieting. Weight stigma is a such a huge problem in our society, and so I want to acknowledge that it’s absolutely normal to want to lose weight in our fat phobic world.
The purpose of this video is to show you the other side of the weight loss coin and share information that my clients have found helpful with their recovery journey from disordered eating.
